Our Objective

To provide your child with a safe, clean, educational and loving environment in which they can feel free to learn and explore. Please don’t hesitate to address your concerns and suggestions to me personally. We are all here to serve you, and we do appreciate your input, ideas, and support. Please inform management of any questions, concerns, or suggestions.

Parent's Responsibilities

Signing In and Out

Please be sure to sign your child in and out of the center each day and escort your child to and from their classroom. Children will not be released to anyone under the influence of alcohol/drugs, to minors, or to those not on the authorization form. Sign-in and sign-out will be done through the computerized system at the front desk. Parents/guardians will be trained on how to use the system upon enrollment.

Visitations/Open
Door Policy

Parents and others listed on a child’s pick-up list are welcome to visit their child/ren at the center at any time. Please check in at the front desk before proceeding to the room to visit. Communication with the teachers is encouraged; however, please make an appointment with the office staff if an extended meeting is necessary. We do not allow extended visits with the teachers in the classrooms by parents for the safety and consideration of the other children in our care. No one will be allowed to visit who is not on the pickup list. We also do not allow staff to have visitors from outside of the center such as relatives/friends, etc.

Parent Communication
Conferences

Parents may request a meeting with their child’s teacher or director at any time. A meeting will be scheduled when the teacher is not caring for other children. Teachers will inform parents of their child’s daily activities through verbal communication at the time of pick-up or through written correspondence.

Attendance/Absentee
Vacation

Each child is allowed two vacation weeks (Monday-Friday) per school year (August 1st-August 1st). The center needs a written 1 week notice prior to the child’s vacation or normal tuition fees will apply. Vacation days are not broken up when vacation is requested it is Monday- Friday and students cannot attend the center. Children receiving subsidy childcare do not qualify for vacation weeks. (no space holding fees) full tuition fees apply. *FULL TUITION IS EXPECTED WEEKLY WITHOUT REGARD TO ATTENDANCE. *Rates are NOT prorated for lack of attendance, holidays, or center staff training days weather closings. During Winter & Summer break no tuition is due for those weeks only.

Napping Routines

Nap time is a time for rest. Children 12 months + shall be placed on a cot/mat during this time. After 30 minutes, if children are not asleep, quiet activities such as books will be offered until the end of nap time.

Notice of Withdrawal

A full one-week notice is required for withdrawal. You will be charged for one weeks after the notice is given or after the last day attended if no notice is given or if withdrawn for non-payment. If we conclude that your child is not suitable for daycare, we will give a one-week notice; however, immediate withdrawal will apply to severe circumstances of misbehavior that threatens the safety of other children. We will allow time for adjustments for each child but however sometimes we might not be the fit for your child. *If a child is withdrawing from the program, the center needs a 1-week notice. Send notice or all fees will apply. We are not responsible for personal items left more than 7 days items will be donated.
